The plenary speakers are the most renowned and experienced leaders in the field of clinical microbiology and infections. These lectures will provide deep insights into the field of expertise of the speakers, and highlight questions that need to be addressed for the future. There will be no separate time for Q & A's.
Symposia will address essential issues or researches on a particular subject in the field of clinical microbiology and infections with a diversity of knowledge and points of view presented by three to four speakers. Speakers will share experiences and contribute relevant research findings, new results, and ideas to identify possible ways forward. There is no Q & A time at the end of the lectures; on the other hand, Q & A's will be possible via the mobile application during the interactive session.
Meet the Expert sessions are an opportunity for participants to sit down and converse on a more one-to-one level with the experts in their field. Each session involves one speaker addressing a significant problem on a particular subject through a short presentation followed by extensive discussions that include direct interaction, discussion of cases, and exchange of experiences.
Each oral presentations should be completed within 10 minutes, including Q & A with the audience.
Sponsored symposia by healthcare companies will enhance the knowledge of attending participants through the showcasing of the works and projects of the companies. Each satellite symposium will be arranged and coordinated by one hosting company. A meal box will be offered as the sessions will be held during lunch time.
Workshops are in-depth sessions that actively develop specific professional competencies that have the potential for practical implementation. These educational and informative interactive sessions will contain or involve case studies/ discussions.
Posters must be printed in a standard format and attached to a poster stand for viewing throughout the day on designated days. During poster presentation sessions, participants are required to stand in front of their posters and answer questions. Best Poster Award nominees have to make an Oral Poster Presentation (OPP) in front of their posters guided by chairperson during the presentation session.
