Best Abstract Awards

Selected presenting authors of an accepted oral or poster presentation will be eligible for nomination for this award:

• Best Oral Presentation Awards (4 awardees): USD 500
• Best Poster Presentation Awards (10 awardees): USD 300

*Awardees will receive prize and a certificate at the Closing Ceremony.

Travel Grants

Selected abstract presenting authors meeting the below requirements will be considered for travel grants of USD 500.

Eligibility:

• Be listed as the presenting author of an abstract submitted for APCCMI 2023.
• Complete their pre-registration and be present at the APCCMI 2023.
• The Travel Grant is given only once to the presenting author regardless of the number of accepted abstracts or co-authors.
• Presenting author can receive the Travel Grants on-site during the APCCMI 2023. They must show identification to verify their identity.
• Be based in a low income or lower middle income country according to the World Bank report. To see the eligible countries, click here.

Institut Mérieux Young Investigator Award

Infectious disease is a major public health issue worldwide. The Institut Mérieux and its entities have been committed for many years in the fight against infectious diseases in particular the issues with Antimicrobial Resistance. In order to provide an incentive for promising young investigators working in these fields, Institut Mérieux has decided to allocate several awards worldwide to researchers or clinicians at the beginning of their carrier in recognition of a major achievement having significant impact.
Asia-Pacific Society of Clinical Microbiology and infection (APSCMI) is a professional society for clinical microbiologists and infectious diseases specialists in the Asia-Pacific region. Institut Mérieux and APSCMI will launch this young investigator award for researchers or clinicians in the Asia-Pacific Region.
